Having served in positions of responsibility at the Hôtel Vernet and Plaza Athénée at Paris, Hôtel du Palais at Biarritz, Martinez at Cannes, Chef Thierry Berger's career places him from the outset amongst the great professionals of French cuisine. Fascinated by his profession, he permanently creates new recipes paying equal attention to the taste of a dish as well as to its aesthetical presentation. A particular attention is paid to local recipes which he reinvents with talent. Thierry Berger has just been elected "Chef of the Year 2008" by Bourgogne Aujourd'hui Magazine.

The wine bar  |
At any time, you can taste a glass of Premiers Crus and Grands Crus 8 white wines and 8 red wines, served by the glass, are permanently listed. From 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., the hotel offers delicious plates of "gourmand snacks" to accompany the wine tasting. |
The wine cellar and the shop  |
In Burgundy, each house possesses its own wine cellar. Le Montrachet’s cellar preserves a selection of wines that are reserved for the hotel's guests. The hotel reception can take care of shipping on request.
The wine cellar can also cater for private events. |
