Every summer, Praz-sur-Arly hosts concerts, shows, village fairs and traditional markets, all keeping in with the traditional alpine image. Unique to the village is the Husky Dog training area, allowing you to meet these incredible dogs and even take advantage of an authentic dog-sled ride.
The very famous resort of Megève, only 4 km away, offers various activities, including a sports centre, shopping centre, casino, cinema, open air ice rink, swimming pools, bowling alley and fitness centre as well as a wide variety of restaurants, bars and even a jazz-club. For those who like to sample local cuisine, the cured meats from Flumet, that go ideally with the traditional fondues, raclettes and tartiflettes of the region. |
