The resort of Alpe d’Huez, near Grenoble , one of the biggest ski areas in the world, offers 220km of south-facing runs with wonderful panoramic views of the Ecrins mountains, to satisfy all winter sport enthusiasts. The resort offers 85 lifts, 700 snow cannons, 110 runs, floodlit night skiing, a snow park, 54 km of cross-country skiing and 30 km of mountain walks.
